The new chairman of the state House Energy and Utility Regulation Committee on Tuesday pledged support for Oklahoma's energy and utility providers. Rep. Dennis Adkins, R-Tulsa, also said it will be important that the Legislature also look out for the best interest of the consumer. Adkins was appointed by Speaker Todd Hiett, R- Kellyville.
Our mission is most certainly twofold, Adkins said. While we want to encourage resident businesses to remain in Oklahoma and new businesses to come here, we also have to make sure that our citizens are able to afford quality, safe energy and utility services for themselves and their families.See the full content of this document
