Outbound shipping at the Tulsa Port of Catoosa dropped 9.3 percent in the first quarter, far outweighing a 2.7-percent inbound- traffic hike. That left overall shipping down 4.8 percent, to 695,990 tons on 417 barges from 731,109 tons carried by 452 barges during the port's record first quarter of 2008.
