Less than a year after closing its Dayton Tire plant, Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire has chosen to give back to the community and school district it made home for the better part of 37 years.
Bridgestone Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mark Emkes came to town from company headquarters in Nashville, Tenn., and presented the Western Heights School District with 60 acres north of the Dayton Tire facility that closed in December.See the full content of this document
