Tinker Air Force Base in Okc to Award $1.7b in Contracts

The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center at Tinker Air Force Base plans to award an estimated $1.7 billion in contracts for a program that will be completely set aside for small businesses over the next 10 years, officials said Friday.
The program, headed by the Aircraft Accessories Commodity Council (AACC), will release a request for proposal the week of Aug. 28, and four to eight contracts will be awarded. The contracts call for 100 percent of the work to be set aside for small, disadvantaged or minority businesses.See the full content of this document
