SpiritBank CEO elected ABA chairman Albert C. Kelly Jr. on Tuesday was elected chairman of the American Bankers Association.Kelly is president and CEO of SpiritBank, in Bristow. He has been with the bank for 25 years. "At this point in our nation's history, I can't think of a better person to lead the banking industry," said Roger Beverage, OBA president and CEO. "He has a passion for the industry and its mission, and that's precisely what's needed right now." Kelly is past chairman of the Oklahoma Bankers Association and the ABA Community Bankers Council and served on the ABA's board of directors. "It's critical that bankers be champions for the industry and have the industry be a champion itself," Kelly said. Kelly has served on the boards of the Oklahoma State Chamber, Tulsa Metro Chamber, Oklahoma Policy Institute, Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits, Salvation Army and Opportunity Oklahoma. Prior to his banking career, Kelly was an assistant district attorney for Creek and Okfuskee counties and a partner in the law firm of McMillan, Vassar & Kelly. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserve.Kelly replaces outgoing ABA Chairman Stephen P. Wilson, chairman and CEO of LCNB National Bank in Lebanon, Ohio. Williams Partners signs agreementsWilliams Partners LP has signed multiple agreements with Hess Corp. and Chevron to provide production handling, export pipeline, oil and gas gathering and gas processing services in the Tubular Bells field development in the eastern deepwater Gulf of Mexico.Hess and Chevron, owners of the Tubular Bells leases, will use Williams Partners' proprietary floating production system, Gulfstar FPS. Tulsa-based Williams Partners expects Gulfstar FPS to be capable of serving as a central host facility for other deepwater prospects in the area.A letter of award for the project was announced on May 24.Williams Partners will design, construct and install its Gulfstar FPS with a capacity of 60,000 barrels of oil per day, up to 200 million cubic feet of natural gas per day and the capability to provide seawater injection services. Gulfstar FPS is expected to be delivered in 30 months."This agreement demonstrates the value that deepwater producers place on reducing cycle time and costs," said Rory Miller, president of Williams Partners' midstream business.The project will create approximately 1,000 U.S. jobs for 30 months, said Miller."These jobs are spread from coast to coast across more than 20 states," he said.Fabrication of the hull will take place in Aransas Pass, Texas. The topsides fabrication will take place in Houma, La.

Rib Crib names Chastain presidentMarc Chastain has been appointed president of Tulsa-based Rib Crib BBQ & Grill."Since joining the company almost 15 years ago, Marc has distinguished himself as an effective leader and capable business strategist time and again," said Bret Chandler, CEO and owner of Rib Crib.Chastain initially served Rib Crib as a controller and later as chief financial officer. He earned an accounting degree from the University of Oklahoma and is a certified public accountant. Before joining Rib Crib, Chastain worked in public accounting, real estate and the sporting goods manufacturing industry.Chandler will remain in his capacity as CEO and owner. Rib Crib has 46 restaurants in eight states.
