Business leaders in Oklahoma want stronger penalties for employers who hire illegal immigrants, according to a new Journal Record survey. Most business leaders say employers who hire undocumented workers are to blame for the influx of illegal immigrants into the state.
And while almost all of the business leaders polled said they did not employ undocumented workers, more than 40 percent of respondents said they believed immigration has an overall positive effect on Oklahoma's economy.See the full content of this document
