Legislation that would penalize employers for hiring illegal aliens will be held for a week while the author works through some concerns raised by The State Chamber.
As filed, House Bill 3119, by state Rep. Randy Terrill, R-Moore, would have required employers who hire illegal immigrants to reimburse state and local governments for public assistance the illegal resident and members of their household may have received, plus attorney fees.See the full content of this document
