Chris Cochran has been named senior vice president of municipal finance for Capital West Securities. The University of Oklahoma graduate has been directly involved in financings for school and city general obligation bonds, water and sewer revenue bonds, lease revenue bonds, hospital revenue bonds, higher education revenue bonds, general obligation refunding bonds and revenue refunding bonds. During the past 14 years, Cochran has provided financial advisory and investment banking services on about $2 billion of Oklahoma municipal bond issues.

Jerri Hargis was promoted to vice president. An eight-year veteran with the firm, she came to Capital West as a benefits specialist after having worked as a service representative for Cigna Healthcare of Oklahoma. Hargis was named assistant vice president of human resources in 1998.
