S&P Upgrades Okc Bond Rating

Summary


Standard & Poor's has upgraded the city's general obligation bond rating from AA to AA+, the first upgrade in more than 20 years, Oklahoma City officials announced Tuesday.

The stable outlook reflects the city's stable and diversifying economic base. The stable outlook also reflects Standard & Poor's expectation that the city will continue its strong financial management practices and position and that the city's debt levels will remain low, the company reported.
