The Journal Record on Friday was awarded its fifth consecutive Sequoyah Award by the Oklahoma Press Association during the annual Mid-Winter Convention 2010 OPA Better Newspaper Contest. The Sequoyah Award is given to the newspaper judges considered best in the state in its circulation category.
