Summary
B. Byron Price, an award-winning author and noted museum professional whose specialty is the American West, was named director of the award-winning University of Oklahoma Press. In addition, John Drayton, who has served the OU Press in key positions during the past 26 years, will lend his expertise to the position of senior associate director and publisher. Both appointments will be effective Aug. 1, pending approval of the OU Board of Regents.
Price, who has spent nearly 25 years in the museum profession, currently holds the Charles Marion Russell Memorial Chair and is director of OU's Charles M. Russell Center for the Study of Art of the American West.See the full content of this document
