Osage Nation Picks Arbitrator for Cigarette Tax Dispute with State of Oklahoma

Summary


The Osage Nation has chosen noted Indian law attorney and judge Kevin Gover to serve as arbitrator in its dispute with the state over the tribe's 2003 compact.

An Arizona State University College of Law professor since 2003, Gover also serves as an associate judge on both the Tonto Apache Tribal Court of Appeals and the San Carlos Apache Tribal Court of Appeals.
