Oklahoma State University Receives Grant for Ethanol Feedstock Research

Summary


Oklahoma State University and its partner institutions in industry have been selected to receive $4.2 million from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to continue development of biofuels.

"These funds will enhance key work being done by our cooperating scientists and engineers to develop advances in practices and technologies necessary to ensure efficient and sustainable production of cellulosic ethanol feedstocks," said Ray Huhnke, director of the OSU Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources' Biobased Products and Energy Center.
