Oklahoma's First Raw-Food Restaurant Set to Open in September

Summary

It's called 105 Degrees, but it has nothing to do with a typical Oklahoma summer. The brainchild of partners Dara Prentice and Matthew Kenney, a nationally known chef and cookbook author, opens for dinner Sept. 12 as the state's first raw-food restaurant.

Located in the new Classen Curve development at 5820 N. Classen, 105 Degrees features an inviting, open decor with lots of bamboo and other sustainable materials making up its tables, bar and other installations. Patrons can watch their spicy vegetable sushi, sweet corn tamales and malted chocolate tart being prepared in the open- design kitchen. David Kraszewski was the architect for 105 Degrees. The cafe opens its full-day, breakfast-lunch-dinner service on Sept. 14.
