Summary


Private accounts for Social Security are a bad idea, said two Democrat legislators and Oklahoma-AARP officials on Wednesday.

State Sen. Kenneth Corn, D-Howe, and Rep. Ryan Kiesel, D- Seminole, said they will file joint resolutions in the Oklahoma House and Senate, urging Oklahoma's representatives in Congress to reject President George W. Bush's plan to create private accounts within Social Security.
