Congress said this week it will allow its longtime offshore drilling ban in certain areas to expire at the end of the month, but don't look for immediate action from oil companies, industry officials said Thursday.
The U.S. House of Representatives indicated it will allow the ban to run out, and the Senate is expected to do the same. But Democrats promised not to end the fight.See the full content of this document
