Rumor has it that some legislators would like to create a commission or board to direct the activities of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, state Sen. Jeff Rabon, D-Hugo said Monday.

As chairman of the state Senate Subcommittee on Natural Resources, he asked Secretary of Commerce and Tourism Kathy Taylor what she thought of the idea when she made a presentation before the committee.
