Gifts to Ou Reach $1 Billion in Decade Under President Boren

The University of Oklahoma has received $1 billion in gifts and pledges during the 10 years that David Boren has been president.

G.T. Blankenship, former chairman of the OU board of regents, made the announcement Wednesday at an event honoring Boren and his wife, Molly. The $1 billion includes money from the State Regents Matching Endowment Program.
