One of the men implicated in an alleged scheme to illegally funnel contributions into Oklahoma County Commissioner Brent Rinehart's 2004 campaign has pleaded no contest and agreed to testify against the other defendants, officials said Wednesday.

Jerl Methvin, one of Rinehart's donors, was charged a year ago with one count of making a contribution to a political candidate in excess of $5,000. He was given this week a six-month deferred sentence and ordered to pay court costs and fees.
