Danny boy, the pipes are calling from Oklahoma City, Norman, Yukon, Tulsa, and other cities all over the Sooner State. And not just for St. Patrick's Day.

If Oklahoma has not developed a reputation as a Celtic Music state, it's certainly not for lack of activity, asserts Malia Bennett, communications director for the state Senate and guitarist for Suspicious Contra Band. These days the band plays at least once a week - and that's before the high-demand St. Patrick's Day season. Bennett's fiddle-playing teenage twin daughters, Lauren and Rachel, have also developed a following as the Flowers of Edinburgh.
