Even as it ramps up to tackle its largest construction project ever, the $50 million Regal Plaza complex, Remy Cos. has started work on more than $20 million in south Tulsa office and retail projects that build upon a successful formula the family company developed seven years ago.

Tim Remy, the construction manager for the Bixby-based real estate conglomerate - "He's the visionary of the family," boasted his mother, Sherry Remy - expects to complete construction this spring on The Suites of Ravenwood, a 60,000-square-foot, $8.7 million office complex at 7700 E. 111th St.

Remy workers also have raised walls across town at 128th and Memorial Drive, where the Crosscreek retail/office/warehouse park proceeds toward a spring or early summer opening. Patterned off Remy's Market Point complex, the $9.5 million development at 12800 S. Memorial Dr. features a 15,000-square-foot shopping center fronting four office/warehouse structures totaling 100,000 square feet.
