Karen Duncan shows her love for wildlife by harassing animals nearly every day of the year. Often with explosives.
"The most stubborn would have to be gulls or turkey vultures; they're pretty persistent on staying around. They get high enough up in the air that it's hard to reach them," said Duncan, a biologist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Wildlife Services division. "And they quickly acclimate to noise, especially in an urban environment around an airport. You have to keep trying different things."See the full content of this document
