A $7 billion budget bill was approved unanimously by the state Senate on Tuesday with nary a word of debate. The fighting came after the vote, in the form of press releases.
While those Democrats who were left out of the negotiation process - including Gov. Brad Henry - said the bill was flawed, the legislative leaders who crafted House Bill 1234 praised the bill's merits and dismissed Henry's comments as "whining."See the full content of this document
