Sandridge Makes Deal to Purchase Okc-Based Crusader Energy Group

Oklahoma City's Crusader Energy Group will be purchased by SandRidge Energy, officials from both companies announced Wednesday. SandRidge CEO Tom Ward said his company has agreed to purchase Crusader Energy, an Oklahoma City-based natural gas producer. Earlier this spring, Crusader filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in federal bankruptcy court for the Northern District of Texas.

A citizen committee has been formed to discuss trash collection and recycling in Tulsa. "As promised in my budget speech, I think it is important for a citizen dialogue to begin about the future of trash collection in our city," said Kathy Taylor, Tulsa mayor.
