Oklahoma Senate Bill Proposes to Close Gap in Insurance Coverage
For the 600 people who worked for Delta Faucet in Chickasha in January 2006, news that the company would close the plant hit them hard. For a few, things could - and did - get even worse in the following months. Between the time their COBRA insurance coverage ran out and when they were able to obtain coverage from another insurer, they received a devastating health diagnosis. With their newfound pre- existing condition, it was even more difficult for them to find coverage.
